Scienceroll is a 2006 Medical Weblog Awards nominee December 15, 2006

Yes, it’s true and great indeed. I’m honored to be nominated. By the way, I should compete with blogs like Genetics and Health or Doctor Anonymous. These are my idols, when I first met with the medical blogosphere, I thought that they couldn’t be beaten. That’s why I started to work on Scienceroll. But I need months to get enough experience, to find my audience, to reach a feedreader number of at least 10. On Sunday, I’ll write a post about my first month as a medical blogger. Be ready for that…
Just for the sake of the official statement, nominations will be accepted until December 31, 2006.; the polls will be open from January 3, 2007 and will close at midnight on Sunday, January 14, 2007 (PST).
So my only aim with that competition is to get more attention. I try to work hard but Scienceroll is even hardly known among the medical bloggers. One month has passed, still so much to do…

WOW, congratulations man! Scienceblogs coming doesn’t seem as improbable suddenly.
Best of luck but really, even if you don’t win, who cares. This blog is great.
Thank you!
This kind of comment means the most to me… That’s why I try to keep my 2-3 posts/day ratio.
Congrats on your nomination. I’ve been reading a little bit, and I’ve enjoyed what I’ve read.
I finally updated my blogroll and add you on my list. Thanks so much for mentioning me in your post. I really appreciate it!
Thank you! Great to be included in your blogroll.
Well done!
Awards are somewhat meaningless but readers never are!
Yes, the readers are the most important, but you have to get attention to be able to zap your readers.
