Living with Cancer: Documentary on Discovery Channel May 1, 2007

My regular readers know well how much I admire the struggles of cancer patients, so I must show you a great documentary on Discovery Channel called Living With Cancer that highlights a series of frank conversations between Ted Koppel, the host of the program, and Lance Armstrong, Elizabeth Edwards, as well as Leroy Sievers, a longtime friend and a colleague of Koppel’s. Living with terminal cancer, Sievers contributes regularly on NPR and posts daily about his struggle with colon cancer which he was diagnosed with in 2006 on his blog, “My Cancer.”
An excerpt of the official release:
More than 10 million Americans are living with cancer. As early detection has become more prevalent, and as treatments have become more effective, many cancer survivors are finding that they can treat their cancer as a chronic disease. On Sunday, May 6, at 8PM E/P, Discovery Channel will present a special 3-hour broadcast of “Koppel on Discovery” dedicated to the discussion of living with cancer.
Don’t miss it if you want to know more about how patients try to live with cancer.

nobody has the “living with cancer” documentary available to buy. where can I find this? My father was just diagnosed and I desperately need to find something he can watch for information and hope. He is deeply depressed and I need to encourage him to think positively and this would be a great tool. Please make this available or tell me where to find it. Discovery does not have it and said they won’t be carrying it.

Can’t wait to watch the documentary!
You’re doing an exceptional job!
The spam for flipitforlife.com is a scam in progress. Anonymous domain registration, google the domain and you’ll see he spams craigslist regularly and posts blog spams everywhere, all claiming “net proceeds” are donated - meaning nothing is passed on. He just has to claim expenses are more than donations.
