Scienceroll has been mentioned in this issue of Cell! May 4, 2007

Something great happens to you when it is absolutely not expected. In this issue of Cell, in the article Scientists Enter the Blogosphere (needs subscription to access) written by Laura Bonetta, Scienceroll and the genetic blog carnival, Gene Genie have been mentioned.
Based on Timothy Erickson’s thoughts, I decided to start this new blog carnival on genes and gene-related diseases. Our plan is to cover the whole genome before 2082 (it means 14-15 genes every two weeks).
In the Communities of Bloggers section, Laura Bonetta says:
Other so-called blog “carnivals” include Mendel’s Garden (http://mendels-garden.blogspot.com), a monthly collection of blog posts on genetics, and Gene Genie (http://scienceroll.com/2007/02/17/gene-genie-the-first-issue), which appears every two weeks and is dedicated to covering every gene in the human genome.
As the sixth edition of Gene genie is about to be published here, at Scienceroll, don’t forget to submit your articles to take part in such a famous carnival
Here are all the issues of Gene genie:
- First issue: Scienceroll
- Second issue: Sciencesque
- Third issue: Genetics and Health
- Fourth issue: Sandwalk
- Fifth issue: Neurophilosophy
