Who is the king of the day? Of course, Ricardo Vidal at My Biotech Life! He was so kind to create a logo for Gene Genie, our favourite blog carnival of genes and gene-related diseases. Take a look at these fantastic and creative images:

Hello Bertalan, thanks for dropping by…Gene Genie is a superb carnival but a bit out out of the scope of what we do…we focus on how can we-no matter what genes we happen to have- take actions in our lifetime to “rebel against the tyranny of the selfish replicators.” (Dawkins).

PS: did you see my offer regarding a blogterview?

Hey Alvaro!

You had a great post! I especially liked the paragraph about the meme-gene relationship.

I saw the blogterview offer, but I’m totally overwhelmed these days. Let’s get back to the point next month.

But I still don’t understand why Gene Genie is out of the scope of what we do…
