Third, what is the difference between raising money to buy an iPhone or sequencing your genome?

Fourth, if you say its cost has better place, then I say the money spent on ice hockey or music awards have much better places as well.

So I totally understand you, just think you misunderstood something.

But begging for something you can’t afford, but you can afford things like an internet account, a cool suit and other thing what – as you say – a modern scientist should have is a selfish thing, i think, if we look that a lot of people have even nothing to EAT. Science is for the development humanity and not for individuals. Your action is a bit like if the guys at a tech-blog start a charity organization for having an iPhone!

I don’t say it’s not cool being a blogger’s DNA sequenced, but it has no scientific value and its cost have better place. But keep on, I hope you success and may be one day biotech companies will support those people’s health who don’t have money.
