- Wikipedia: A community of editors or a community of authors? (O’Reilly Radar)
- Science 2.0: Great New Tool, or Great Risk? (Scientific American)
- Is there a doctor in the mouse? (Salon.com)
- Disliking “Web 2.0″ and Hating “Web 3.0″ (David Rothman): While I have to agree with many of David’s words, I think we have to differentiate somehow between the old-minded sites and these new websites, services and web tools which are really different from the old version of world wide web. That’s why we call them web 2.0. And medicine 2.0 is medicine 2.0 because medical web geekery doesn’t sound too professional, moreover it’s not easy to always refer to web 2.0 and medicine, so a shorter form was needed. Anyway, I don’t think these new names have any kind of importance.
