Of course, they should, but my point was that journalists also need to learn that reporting on science is different from reporting on the weather or politics or what a celebrity had for breakfast.
You’re absolutely right! I just tried to refer to an old post of mine in which I said scientists should acquire skills in communicating with laypeople. So I agree with you…
