What happens if you mix Digg.com with Del.icio.us in education? The result is quite interesting and is called Edutagger. But let Mark Schumann, the man behind the whole idea, explain it all:
Del.icio.us includes a huge number of links and resources that can be used in education. However, given the size and scope of del.icio.us, it is sometimes more difficult to discover educational resources mixed in with everything else.
As a result, I recently developed Edutagger (www.edutagger.com), a social bookmarking service for K-12 learners and educators. You’re probably also familiar with Digg, which this system closely resembles, but Digg obviously suffers the same issues as del.icio.us from an educational context.
What I like the most in Edutagger is the Live page where you can follow easily the changes and the new links as well. You can register here.

Thanks fot the link Bertalan. Edutagger is getting started and, given the social voting system, needs more users to really make it work well. It would be fantastic if anyone here signs up and posts a few links they find useful in education, and be sure to vote on other links both within the Popular section and New Links section. If you have any colleagues that would be interested, please feel free to forward the link to them.
I’d love to hear any feedback anyone has, many of the comments i’ve received have been implemented already. Let’s get “edutagging”
