It’s getting harder to keep up with the many improvements of the medical aspects of Second Life so sometimes I’ll share some interesting links with you.

- IBM Opens New 3D Virtual Healthcare Island on Second Life (IBM Press Room): Currently, I can’t find this virtual place. Any ideas?
- Get a Life: Second Life Game to Teach Nutrition Habits (Mark’s Daily Apple): Users can virtually experience the effects that fast food can have on their short- and long-term health.
- PPH to Showcase Hospital of the Future in a Virtual World (San Diego Business): Another good example:
For the last few months, 10 Web developers have worked to re-create Palomar Pomerado Health’s hospital of the future in Second Life, the 3-D online world that hosts millions of residents.
- Co-founder of The Heron Sanctuary recounts history (SLNN.com): The Heron Sanctuary began not in Second Life, but on the largest U.S. dating website for disabled people: LoveByrd.
