I consider myself, as Dean Giustini would say, a “medupunk“. If you haven’t heard about edupunks:

Edupunk is an approach to teaching and learning practices that result from a do it yourself (DIY) attitude. Many instructional applications can be described as DIY education or Edupunk. It describes inventive teaching and inventive learning.

Edupunk has risen from an objection to the efforts of government and corporate interests in reframing and bundling emerging technologies into cookie-cutter products with pre-defined application — somewhat similar to traditional punk ideologies.

The world of medicine is changing. Be ready for some interesting projects during the summer. Until then:
