Somehow medical professionals tend to order Medicine 2.0 Packages while patients do not. The mission of Webicina is to open the world of web 2.0 not just for doctors and nurses, but for patients as well. That’s why we will dedicate the month of November to patients with new prices and opportunities.

Medicine 2.0 Package is a personalized set of web 2.0 tools designed to solve your problems.

Such a package contains all the quality blogs, blog carnivals, community sites, video sites, microblogging sites, search engines, slideshows and many many more tools/services/websites that focus on one medical condition or medical specialty.

Details on the Webicina blog.

Berci, probably patients are concern about healthcare only where they have a problem. Then is not easy to start.

chronic are easier and they need tools. I belive is hard to sell a package for them. They are concern about their healthcare.

I was very interested in the PHR topic but seen that patients don’t just have a PHR unless a motivation. We found the motivation, Medical Tourism activity and we have developed a Personal Health Record for Medical Tourism which some key issues: automatic multilanguage translation, always anonymous and asychronous teleconsultation.

Actually we are testing it in Medical Tourism scenario but after that we don’t have a clear business plan for myhlz.com

I think it can be useful for you to know…. could be a service.

Miguel, thank you for your comment!

You gave me a good idea what to write about when I will focus on PHRs again.
