What a great list. I simply couldn't manage my feed without Tweetdeck, it keeps me organized and I set up a search to watch my target keywords. Twilert and Omni were new finds, will get over to check them out now. Thanks!

I was using twhirl as a client. I find that with TweetDeck Twitter became a more versatile tool! The problem is always time efficiency indeed!

I've already talked with you about this problem on a twitter, but it's nice, you wrote about it in on your blog as well (twitter is a little bit too short for details ;-)). The idea with building your own group on TweetDeck is really great, because it lets you follow a disscusion you're really interested in, without canceling other tweets

Excellent post! Been using Friend Feed a lot myself to filter and get to the core of what I feel I need to see. Love Power Twitter add on for Firefox too.

Being I live in Outlook, I also use Out Twit:
http://www.techhit.com/OutTwit/

That site also has a similar add on for Facebook too, so as long as I live in Outlook, the 2 are must haves for me! You may notice that most of my updates are done via Out Twit.

Here's another review as well with new beta functionality and nice reporting features.

http://mashable.com/2008/01/09/outtwit-03-beta-hits-the-internets/

Off the path a bit here, I also use Xobni with Outlook too and it will index all of my tweets too.

http://www.xobni.com/

When you live in Outlook, these may be very useful and there's also an add in for Linked in too, so yes, got all of them:)

O.k. that clarifies a lot. Thanks.

By the way, don't you use the search function of Tweetdeck? You get an extra column next to your groups (replies, favs and other).
