A few days ago, I presented a video of Hans Rosling who talked about H1N1 and tuberculosis. Now here is Rosling’s recent TED talk:
Hans Rosling unveils new data visuals that untangle the complex risk factors of one of the world’s deadliest (and most misunderstood) diseases: HIV. He argues that preventing transmissions — not drug treatments — is the key to ending the epidemic.

nice video , i like it very much.
This will be a tough battle. Unfortunately, I don’t think will ever be a cure or strong plan. Because we need people to die and the government knows this because of over population. Sad but true.
Hiv is getting out of control…not good
Sad, my friend has gone in and out of full blown AIDs already and it hurts to watch a high school buddy die. It isn’t going away, although I think we all like to think of it not exisiting.
So many lives lost, its hard to believe a cure or vaccine hasn’t been developed.
If people stopped living promiscuous lives, using illegal drugs and taking blood transfusions … Aids would have no way to be transmitted and would die out eventually
It’s really sad that, with all the technology we’ve got in this day and age, we still haven’t found a cure for AIDs. Hopefully it’s right around the corner.. though we’ve all been made to believe the cure has been within our grasp for years.
Its so sad to see the cases of aids! if people would just take notice of the real situation! Scary! I have kids that I will be educating as much as I can.
I agree prevention and awareness are important aspects to prevent HIV.
Informative video. Thank you for opening my eyes. I don`t think about this critical issue but we all should!
