Internet-Based Medical Television Officially Launches April 27, 2010

A few weeks ago I wrote about MDiTV, an Internet-Based Medical Television, that is now officially launched. You can watch the videos in great quality or read the same news. I still think such an initiative has a lot of opportunities and MDiTV seems to be doing it in a really professional way.
MDiTV is the first health sciences media network to exclusively use internet-based video content, making the information more meaningful and easily understood. MDiTV will be a new platform for the health care community to interact and share information, available through apps, smart phones, widgets, and television. It is the first network of its kind.

I’m going to propose that they interview you the next time you’re in the States. I think a round table discussion on medicine 2.0 would draw huge traffic and be really interesting.
Yes, we would love to interview you next time you are in the area! The roundtable idea that Dr. V. suggested sounds like just the type of thing we love to produce!

I notice that a lot more doctor programs are coming on the air (TV). Since I am more of a internet/video person, I think this move is awesome. I liked how the video shown for this article shows how they are creating the set in the background. It sort of gives the feeling of “I can’t wait to see the finished product.” I wish these guys much success. One side note, I hope they do not give 5 sec stories on topics like the current MD TV shows do.
